“Everyone knows that nature is experiencing a crisis, that the world needs more trees, and that agriculture must evolve. That's why we say: one planet, plant it.”

With whom do we prefer to work?

We work best in mutual trust with people and business who share a common vision, such as:

  • European nurseries and wholesale growers with an interest in agroforestry, food forests and regenerative agriculture.

  • European designers/entrepreneurs/farmers who develop large-scale agroforestry projects, food forests and regenerative agriculture.

  • European government officials who consider reforesting public spaces

How do we do it?

  • We seek sustainable solutions where all parties are satisfied.

  • We combine our years of experience in the agro-industry with the latest insights on agroforestry.

  • We blend traditional wisdom with the most productive and climate-resilient species.

  • We believe in natural harmony without compromising on practical feasibility.

What do we offer concretely?

From Agroforestrysupplies, we offer a unique assortment of the most productive, edible species. We have been operating since 2008 in Fruithof De Brand with our mother plants, but we have since evolved into a professional nursery of 20 hectares specialised in agroforestry, food forests and regenerative agriculture where we cultivate and refine the most suitable species.

Sjef van Dongen is an expert in agroforestry, regenerative agriculture, and food forest systems. He has been cultivating plants from a very young age. After obtaining a degree in agricultural engineering from WUR, he and his wife initiated a food forest project in Brazil in 2008, and later in 2013, they established another food forest property called 'Fruithof De Brand' in the Netherlands. Using the trees from the food forest, they established a plant nursery at the current location, featuring a variety of edible plants
